Electrical Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical single line diagrams (SLD) for high voltage transmission lines, substations, and distribution systems.
  
• Conduct earthing calculations to ensure proper grounding of electrical equipment.
  
• Design transformers, cables, and other electrical components according to project requirements.
  
• Perform cable sizing calculations to determine the appropriate gauge size for efficient power transmission.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during design implementation.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 6-10 years of experience in electrical design engineering with expertise in SLD preparation.
  
• B.Tech/B.E. degree in Electrical from a recognized university.
  
• Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD or similar CAD software for drafting drawings and diagrams.
  
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, including circuit analysis and fault tolerance.
