Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Drafter, your role involves conducting site studies to determine power needs and functional requirements, creating technical wiring and power layout diagrams, and estimating power generation and consumption needs. You will be responsible for generating technical specification documents, installation guides, and ensuring that electrical plans meet all regulatory and safety requirements. Your duties also include overseeing the installation and construction of electrical equipment, inspecting and testing installed electrical systems, and resolving any planning issues by developing effective solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct site studies to determine power needs and functional requirements - Create technical wiring and power layout diagrams and specifications sheets - Estimate the required power generation and consumption needs - Generate technical specification documents and installation guides - Ensure that electrical plans meet all regulatory and safety requirements - Oversee the installation and construction of electrical equipment and systems - Inspect and test installed electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety - Resolve any electrical planning issues and develop effective solutions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in electrical drafting, drafting design, electrical engineering, or similar - Minimum of two years" experience as an electrical drafter - Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks - Excellent understanding of electrical generation and transmission systems - Thorough knowledge of electrical safety regulations, building codes, and health standards - Problem-solving and managerial skills - Ability to stay up to date with the latest developments in electrical systems and best practices - Strong communication skills and collaborative abilities In addition to the job responsibilities and qualifications, please note that the work type for this position is full-time.
