Your responsibilities will include ensuring electrical safety, performance, reliability, and compliance with automotive and global standards. You will collaborate cross-functionally on the seamless integration of battery packs from prototype to production. - Own the development, analysis, and integration of battery electrical architectures, including high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) domains, busbars, harness, connectors, and current sensing solutions. - Develop integration strategies for Battery Management Systems (BMS) hardware: including voltage, current, temperature monitoring, cell balancing, isolation, and diagnostics. - Ensure all electrical interfacesHV, LV, data/signalare robust, reliable, and manufacturable. - Validate electrical design against safety standards (AIS, ISO, IEC, UL); coordinate EMI/EMC and functional safety (ISO 26262) compliance. - Lead prototype builds, testing, and commissioning of integrated battery systems; resolve issues in HV design, relay, fuse selection, interlocks, grounding, and insulation resistance. - Optimize electrical layouts for cost, manufacturability, efficiency, and system-level integration. - Oversee cable/harness design, connector selection, and electrical safety measures for crash, thermal, and environmental requirements (water/dust ingress, vibration). Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field - 5+ years of experience - 3+ years proven experience in automotive or EV battery system electrical design and integration. - Proficiency in ECAD tools (Altium, Capital, EPLAN, Zuken), circuit simulation, and data analysis. - Strong understanding of cell chemistry, HV/LV architecture, power electronics, and BMS. - Experience in validation and integration of battery packs with real-world vehicle systems. - Familiarity with global automotive integration and safety standards (ISO, AIS, UL). - Excellent troubleshooting and system-level integration abilities. - Passion for automotive electrification and safe, innovative battery system deployment. - Strong communication skills and cross-functional team experience As an Electrical Battery Integration Engineer, you will lead the electrical design and integration of high-voltage (HV) battery packs and systems for next-generation electric vehicles.
