Electrical Autocad Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical layout drawings including lighting, power, circuit, and cable schedules using AutoCAD
• Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), load calculations, and panel board schematics
• Create and maintain accurate wiring diagrams, circuit designs, and termination schedules
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams to ensure technical drawings align with project requirements
• Understand client requirements and automation plans to design technically sound electrical systems
• Coordinate with on-site teams for modifications, updates, and as-built drawings
• Maintain drawing version control and documentation as per project standards
• Adhere to electrical standards (such as IS, NEC) and company design protocols

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive AutoCAD Electrical Design Engineer to join our Design & Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing electrical layouts, load calculations, circuit diagrams, and panel designs using AutoCAD. Exposure to home automation systems will be an added advantage.
