Electrical Assembly & Field Technician

At HyperHorizon, we’re building India’s first modular, man-portable autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) to redefine subsea defense.

We’re looking for a proactive Electrical Assembly & Field Technician who can build, solder, assemble, test, and troubleshoot our AUV systems both in the lab and in the field. If you take ownership of your work, love working with your hands, and can adapt quickly, you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble and wire prototypes, harnesses, and sub-systems for AUVs
• Perform high-quality soldering (through-hole & surface mount)
• Build and rework PCBAs, cables, and connectors to required standards
• Assist in field testing setup, operate, and monitor systems during trials
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble hardware based on test results
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using standard test tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
• Work closely with engineers to improve designs and reliability

Must-Haves

• 1–7 years of experience in electronics assembly, repair, or prototyping
• Strong soldering and harness assembly skills
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
• Comfortable with assembly/disassembly and hands-on troubleshooting
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset

Nice-to-Haves

• IPC soldering certifications (IPC-7711/IPC-610/IPC-620)
• Experience with marine, drone, or robotic systems
• Familiarity with electrical CAD tools (Eagle, KiCad)
• RC hobbyist or tinkerer background

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
