Electrical Engineer (Industrial)

Valid Supervisor License (Preferred but not mandatory)

ROLE :

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.) Industrial Electrical Maintenance Preventive & breakdown maintenance of:

• LT panels, MCC panels
• Motors, starters, contactors
• VFDs, soft starters
• Power distribution systems
• Machine wiring, rewiring, and fault rectification
• Load balancing and phase correction
• Earthing system inspection and improvement

2.) Preventive Maintenance & Safety Prepare and follow preventive maintenance schedules

• Identify potential electrical hazards and suggest corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards
• Maintain proper housekeeping at electrical installations

3.) Breakdown Handling Attend emergency breakdown calls as per defined response time

• Diagnose faults quickly and restore power safely
• Coordinate with helpers/electricians during breakdown work
• Minimize downtime of machines and production lines

4.) Client Coordination & Reporting Communicate professionally with :

• Maintenance in-charge
• Factory owner / plant manager
• Explain faults, corrective actions, and preventive suggestions
• Submit daily / weekly maintenance reports to management

5.) Material & Cost Control Identify material requirements for maintenance or repair works

• Avoid wastage or misuse of electrical materials
• Support management in preparing estimates for additional works
• Ensure company tools and instruments are used responsibly

6.) Team Handling (If Assigned)Guide electricians and helpers at site

• Ensure work is completed as per company standards
• Maintain discipline and safety among workforce

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS Strong understanding of:

• LT electrical systems
• Industrial wiring & cable termination
• Control wiring
• Ability to read electrical drawings and panel schematics
• Hands-on experience in fault finding
• Basic knowledge of energy efficiency & power quality

BEHAVIOURAL & PROFESSIONAL SKILLS High level of responsibility & ownership:

• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Clear communication skills (Gujarati / Hindi)
• Professional behavior with industrial clients
• Willingness to travel across industrial areas

WORKING CONDITIONS

• 6 days working
• On-call support for emergency breakdowns (as per contract)
• Site-based role (office visits only for reporting)
