Electrical and Maintenance Engineer

Job Purpose:

The role holder is responsible for ensuring compressor has been maintained Low temperature from refrigeration

plant to Production Frozen Cold Store & related to Electrical in their allotted storage location without deviation our

SOP standard temperature in all levels.

Principal Accountabilities

• Operate and monitor electrical systems, switchgears, transformers, motors, and MCC panels.

• Carry out routine inspections of electrical systems and troubleshoot issues on shop floor machinery.

• Respond to breakdown calls and assist in immediate repairs to minimize downtime.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical standards.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment as per schedule.

• Maintain logbooks, breakdown records, and daily shift reports.

• Assist in load balancing and monitor power quality using instruments.

• Replace faulty components like contactors, fuses, relays, and MCBs.

• Coordinate with utility providers in case of external power issues ( DG)

• Participate in energy-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements.

• Adhere to factory safety rules, Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), and permit-to-work systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Educational qualifications : BE or Dipl. In Electrical

Relevant experience : 1 to2 Years.

License : Must need C License

Knowledge:

1. knowledge of electrical diagrams, power systems, and safety procedures

2. Day today preventive maintenance activities

3. Strong knowledge in PLC, VFDs, and industrial automation.

4. Knowledge about fault finding and troubleshooting

5. Sensor calibration, SCADA troubleshooting

Skills:

1. Interpersonal Skills

2. Teamwork and communication Skills

3. Electrical safety awareness Skills

4. Basic computer skills

Additional requirement:

1. Ability to incorporate for the new technology.
