Job Description

Job Responsibilities (Maintenance Engineer Electrical):

Willingness to work in shifts as per plant requirements.
Plan and execute daily maintenance work based on operational priorities.
Manage, allocate, and supervise manpower for smooth maintenance activities.
Perform
preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
for electrical systems and plant equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical issues in equipment such as
welding machines, EOT cranes, air compressors, CNC machines
, etc.
Ensure maximum uptime of machinery through timely maintenance and quick fault resolution.
Maintain and update maintenance logs, checklists, and documentation.
Coordinate with production and mechanical teams for minimizing downtime.
Monitor and ensure safe operation of all electrical installations within the plant.
Implement energy-saving initiatives and ensure optimal power utilization.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.
Assist in installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment and electrical panels.

Technical Knowledge Required:

Ability to read and interpret
electrical drawings and wiring schematics
.
Basic working knowledge of
PLC systems, VFDs, motors, sensors, and control circuits
.
Familiarity with
control panels, MCCs, switchgear, HV/LT power distribution systems
, and protective devices.
