In this role, you will be responsible for managing Elasticsearch clusters in production environments. This includes optimizing indexing and query performance, integrating data from various sources, troubleshooting performance issues, implementing security measures, monitoring cluster health, collaborating with stakeholders, planning upgrades, and scaling Elasticsearch deployments. Key Responsibilities: - Deploy, configure, and maintain Elasticsearch clusters to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance - Design and implement efficient indexing strategies to optimize search query performance - Integrate data from logs, databases, APIs, and third-party applications into Elasticsearch - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, analyze logs, and maintain system reliability - Implement security measures to ensure data security and compliance with industry standards - Set up monitoring tools to track cluster health, resource usage, and query performance - Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand use cases and provide training - Plan and execute Elasticsearch version upgrades and patch management - Work on scaling strategies to handle an increase in data and query load Qualification Required: - At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Elasticsearch in a production environment - Proficiency in Elasticsearch setup, configuration, and cluster management - Strong understanding of Elasticsearch APIs, indexing, and query DSL - Experience with data ingestion and ETL tools like Logstash, Beats, and Kafka - Familiarity with Kibana for visualizing Elasticsearch data - Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting Elasticsearch issues - Experience implementing security features in Elasticsearch - Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack Monitoring - Familiarity with Azure cloud platform is a plus - Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C# - Experience in CI/CD Tooling, Github, Azure DevOps is preferred,
