As a Safety Officer with 25 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the construction or solar industry, your role will involve ensuring that all EPC projects adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing safety protocols to maintain compliance with HSE regulations - Conducting safety training for project teams to enhance awareness and adherence to safety procedures - Ensuring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance at all project sites - Monitoring and overseeing high-risk activities such as working at heights, electrical connections, and heavy equipment use - Maintaining accident records, investigating incidents, and preparing safety audit reports - Ensuring compliance with statutory safety guidelines to create a safe working environment - Promoting a culture of zero accidents at project sites by emphasizing the importance of safety measures Key Skills required for this role include: - Proficiency in risk assessment to identify and mitigate potential hazards - Sound knowledge of HSE compliance regulations to ensure adherence to safety standards - Strong incident management skills to effectively handle and investigate safety-related incidents - Experience in providing safety training to project teams to enhance safety awareness and practices Your qualifications should include a Diploma/Degree in Safety Engineering, along with certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH, to demonstrate your expertise in safety management.
