Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Set up and operate
EDM machines
(Wire Cut, Die Sinking, or CNC EDM) according to specifications and job orders.
Read and interpret
engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets
.
Select appropriate electrodes, tools, and materials required for the operation.
Monitor machine operations and adjust parameters to maintain quality and dimensional accuracy.
Perform routine
inspection and measurement
using tools like micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM (if applicable).
Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic
preventive maintenance
.
Record job data such as time, material usage, and production results.
Collaborate with
design, CNC, and quality departments
to resolve machining challenges.
