Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an EDM Operator based in Kochi, Kerala. The EDM Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining Electrical Discharge Machines (EDM), ensuring precision in machining parts to engineering specifications. Daily tasks include machine setup, troubleshooting, monitoring production quality, and performing regular maintenance checks. The operator will also collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Proficiency in operating and maintaining EDM equipment, with strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
Familiarity with interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints to manufacture parts accurately.
Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and measuring instruments.
Problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot machine errors and ensure quality output.
Strong attention to detail, quality control, and adherence to safety standards.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently under minimal supervision.
Prior experience in precision tooling or similar manufacturing environments is a plus.
Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Tool and Die Making, or related fields preferred.
