As an Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) Operator at mPragati, your responsibilities will include operating both Wire and Die Sink Equipments. You will be in charge of managing the full EDM machine workflow by preparing setups, aligning components accurately, and executing wire and die-sink EDM operations. It will be your duty to diagnose and troubleshoot minor machine issues to minimize downtime, maintain the workspace, and equipment through regular cleaning routines. Additionally, you will need to maintain detailed job documentation and strictly adhere to established operating procedures. Collaboration with team leads and cross-functional personnel is essential to maintain workflow efficiency and resolve production issues. Qualifications for this position include an ITI or Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or Graduation, along with vocational training in precision machining. The training should emphasize Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) techniques, part inspection, and hands-on tooling skills. This is a full-time contractual position requiring work for 6 days a week on day shifts based on workload requirements. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Metal Additive Manufacturing Expert located in New Delhi. The role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of metal additive manufacturing projects, including setting up and operating 3D printing machinery, developing manufacturing processes, and ensuring quality control. The expert will also be responsible for conducting research and development to innovate manufacturing techniques, providing training to team members, managing project timelines, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
