As an Oracle EDI Lead/Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes utilizing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Fusion, or Oracle Cloud applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring seamless integration of EDI transactions with internal systems, managing trading partner relationships, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You should have a solid understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12), mapping, Oracle ERP systems, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing EDI solutions for effective integration with Oracle ERP systems. - Configuring and supporting inbound/outbound EDI transactions such as Purchase Orders (850), Invoices (810), Advanced Shipment Notices (856), and others. - Collaborating with business users to gather EDI requirements and define business processes. - Designing and maintaining EDI mapping specifications for various transactions and trading partners. - Managing communication with trading partners to ensure smooth EDI data exchange and resolve transmission issues. - Monitoring daily EDI transactions, troubleshooting, and resolving EDI-related issues promptly. - Analyzing and resolving transaction failures, mapping issues, and integration errors between EDI and Oracle ERP systems. - Working with internal teams, external vendors, and trading partners to debug, test, and enhance EDI processes. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 10+ years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion, or Oracle Cloud, particularly with EDI modules and integration. - Experience in EDI standards such as ANSI X12. - A proven track record of implementing and managing EDI solutions within Oracle ERP environments. In terms of technical skills, you should possess: - Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP (EBS and Fusion), EDI standards, and mapping tools. - Experience with Oracle PL/SQL for querying and troubleshooting database-related issues. - Hands-on experience with EDI translation software and middleware (e.g., Oracle B2B, Sterling Integrator, GXS, etc.). - Familiarity with Oracle workflows, forms, and reports. - Knowledge of communication protocols such as AS2, FTP, SFTP, and VANs. Preferred educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering, Masters in Computer Applications, or equivalent from a reputed institute.
