Ecommerce - Technical Architect

As a Technical Architect at our company, your main responsibility will be to conceptualize and define the architecture of a state-of-the-art real-time e-commerce software product, ensuring high availability, security, performance, stability, and scalability. Your key accountability areas include: - Providing architectural and technological solutions for a new software product suite - Addressing non-functional requirements (NFR) such as test strategy, deployment architecture, data migration, and application sizing - Researching, assessing, and implementing new technologies to enhance performance - Designing and developing business-critical enterprise applications using JavaEE, Spring, RIA, and JavaScript technologies - Architecting and designing e-commerce systems from conception to deployment - Demonstrating strong expertise in Java/JEE programming, particularly with the Spring framework - Working with Orchestration Engines like BPEL and BPM - Proficiency in web services protocols (SOAP, REST) and webservice frameworks (CXF/Axis2/Spring) - Sound knowledge of OO software architecture and web development technologies - Hands-on experience with web containers, application server configurations, and tuning - Designing for non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, and performance - Familiarity with Continuous Integration, build tools, and processes - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Additional skills and experience that would be advantageous for this role include: - Design and implementation experience with market-leading packages in various functional areas - Expertise in performance testing, code profiling, and related tools - Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) - Experience with Rule Engines like Drools/iLog Rules - Familiarity with caching, data governance, and other enterprise product areas - Interest in new trends in software development such as Cloud computing, OSGi, BigData, and HTML5 - Understanding of Agile SDLC (SCRUM) Education qualifications required for this role include B.Sc/B.Com/M.Sc/MCA/B.E/B.Tech in relevant fields.
