Ecommerce - Technical Architect

As a Technical Architect specializing in E-commerce, your primary role will be to conceptualize and define the architecture for a cutting-edge real-time e-commerce software product. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, performance, stability, and scalability of the product throughout the implementation process. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define the Architectural and Technology solutions for a new software Product suite - Provide solutions for Non-Functional Requirements (NFR), review NFR test reports, and optimize the application - Define deployment architecture, data migration strategy, product monitoring frameworks, and application sizing - Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance performance **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of experience in designing and developing business critical enterprise applications using JavaEE, Spring, RIA, and Javascript technologies - Experience in architecting and designing eCommerce systems from deployment to go-live - Strong development background with 5+ years of programming experience in Java/JEE, particularly with the Spring framework - Proficiency in Web services protocols (SOAP, REST), webservice frameworks (CXF/Axis2/Spring), and OO software architecture/design - Knowledge of web development technologies such as JSP, Javascript, Ajax, CSS, and HTML - Hands-on expertise in web containers, application server configurations, and tuning - Experience in designing for non-functional requirements like security, scalability, and performance - Familiarity with Continuous Integration, build tools, and processes In addition to the above qualifications, the following additional details are relevant for this role: - Experience in the design and implementation of various functional areas within eCommerce systems - Expertise in performance testing, code profiling, and related tools - Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) - Exposure to Rule Engines (Drools/iLog Rules) and enterprise product areas like caching and data governance - Interest in new trends in software development such as Cloud computing, Big Data, and HTML5 - Familiarity with Agile SDLC practices Please note that the company is in the IT/Computers-Software industry and the educational requirement for this role is a B.Sc/B.Com/M.Sc/MCA/B.E/B.Tech degree.
