Job Title: E-commerce Manager

Key Responsibilities:

E-commerce Platform Management-

  • Manage end-to-end operations for D2C website (Shopify or similar) and all key marketplaces. (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, etc.)
  • Ensure seamless product listings, pricing updates, order processing, return handling, and vendor coordination.
  • Drive business performance through platform-level promotions and content optimization.

Cataloging & Listing-

  • Create, manage, and optimize product listings including titles, descriptions, bullet points, images, videos, A+ content, and backend keywords.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams for accurate and compelling product content aligned with brand tone.
  • Regular audits to ensure listing hygiene and adherence to marketplace guidelines.

Performance & Analytics-

  • Monitor daily sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer feedback to optimize performance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, fast-moving SKUs, slow movers, and inventory requirements.
  • Work closely with the supply chain team to manage stock levels and prevent stock-outs.

Marketing & Visibility-

  • Coordinate with digital marketing teams/agencies to drive performance campaigns (sponsored ads, DSP, etc.) on marketplaces.
  • Plan and execute seasonal promotions, offers, and campaigns to boost visibility and conversions.

Product Knowledge & Industry Insight-

  • Strong understanding of personal care products (hair oils, shampoos, face washes, serums, etc.)
  • Stay updated with trends and consumer insights in the natural beauty and wellness space.

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce operations for beauty, hair care, or skin care brands.
  • Strong experience in cataloging, listing, and marketplace operations.
  • Familiar with tools like Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, Nykaa Partner Portal, and D2C platforms like Shopify.
  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple marketplaces and coordinate with various internal/external stakeholders.
  • Passion for clean beauty, sustainability, and consumer-centric storytelling is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of keyword tools (Helium10, Jungle Scout)
  • SEO understanding for product pages.
  • Hands-on experience with advertising on Amazon, Flipkart, and Nykaa.
  • Prior experience working with a startup or fast-paced beauty brand is highly desirable.
