Key Responsibility Areas (KRA) Role: Chartered Accountant (Mid-Level): Industry: Listed Companies Conglomerate with Multiple Business Segments Function: Accounts, Finance & Taxation Location: Punjabi Bagh & Connaught Place Segment-Wise Financial Accounting & Consolidation: Manage day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate recording of segment-wise financial transactions. Prepare and review segmental financial statements in compliance with Ind AS and SEBI (LODR) requirements. Consolidation of accounts across multiple business units/entities for quarterly and annual reporting. Coordinate with business unit teams to ensure timely closures and reconciliations. Direct & Indirect Taxation: Ensure compliance with Income Tax, TDS, and GST regulations across different business segments and geographies. Review and file tax returns (Income Tax, GST, TDS) and ensure timely payments. Perform GST input-output reconciliation for multi-location branches. Handle tax audits, assessments, and liaise with consultants and authorities. Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure timely implementation. Financial Reporting & MIS: Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports including revenue, cost, and profitability analysis by segment. Support quarterly and annual financial disclosures for stock exchange filings. Assist in preparing board packs, audit committee presentations, and investor queries related to financial data. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts for each business segment. Analyse budget vs. actual performance, with commentary on variances. Work with business heads to support cost control and resource planning initiatives. Treasury & Working Capital Management: Monitor receivables, payables, and inventory across segments for efficient working capital management. Coordinate with banks for fund transfers, forex transactions, and LC/BG issuance. Optimize fund allocation between segments based on cash flow forecasts. Preferred Skills Strong understanding of Ind AS, GST, and Income Tax laws. Experience with listed company financial reporting. Ability to work with cross-functional teams across business units.
