EA RESIG Fund Accountant

As a Fund Accountant at EisnerAmper, you will play a vital role in the RESIG Team in the Bengaluru office. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing/reviewing daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual Fund Accounting functions as assigned. - Coordinating with different teams (both internal and external) to perform various daily/monthly/quarterly tasks. - Taking complete ownership and accountability for timely and accurate resolution of cash breaks. - Monitoring the status of aged and significantly sized breaks to ensure timely and accurate resolution. - Acting as the primary reviewer and ensuring the quality assurance of the deliverables produced by your team. - Calculating, booking, and reviewing deal-wise fees like Management, Incentive/carry, etc. You will also be responsible for: - Keeping the Client/CRM informed about expected delays and reasons on a timely manner along with a plan of action. - Ensuring all deliverables are achieved as per defined timelines and with expected quality for our Clients/CRM. - Participating in calls/meetings between the team, Client/CRM to help set the expectations right. - Having in-depth knowledge of various applications you work on to complete the tasks. - Performing Root Cause Analysis of the problem and escalating to Manager as needed. **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor's/master's degree in accounting/CA/ICWA/MBA. - Up to 2 years of fund accounting experience. **Preferred/Desired Qualifications:** - Experience using partnership accounting applications (e.g., Yardi) will be an added advantage. - High level of proficiency in Excel and Word. - Ability to work in a Global Operating Model including virtual teams.
