Department: Engineering / Design Location: [Insert Location] Experience: 26 years (Industrial Automation domain) Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview We are seeking a skilled E-Plan Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Motor Control Center (MCC) panel design within the industrial automation sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing electrical design drawings, schematics, and documentation using E-Plan Electric P8, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed electrical schematics, panel layout drawings, and wiring diagrams using E-Plan Electric P8. Design and document MCC, PCC, PLC, and Control Panels in accordance with client and project requirements. ¢ Prepare Bill of Materials (BOMs), cable schedules, and load lists. ¢ Perform electrical load calculations and component selection (circuit breakers, relays, contactors, drives, etc.). ¢ Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and other relevant electrical standards. ¢ Coordinate with project, purchase, and production teams to support manufacturing and installation. ¢ Participate in design reviews and provide technical support during panel fabrication and commissioning. ¢ Maintain design libraries, standard templates, and ensure project documentation accuracy. Required Skills & Competencies ¢ Proficiency in E-Plan Electric P8 (mandatory). ¢ Strong understanding of MCC, PCC, PLC, and automation control panels. ¢ Knowledge of industrial power and control circuits, protection schemes, and interlocking. ¢ Familiarity with industrial automation systems (PLC, SCADA, VFDs, instrumentation). ¢ Good knowledge of electrical standards (IEC/IS/UL). ¢ Ability to interpret electrical single-line diagrams (SLD) and panel GA drawings. ¢ Excellent communication and team coordination skills. ¢ Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering. Preferred / Good to Have ¢ Exposure to AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD tools. ¢ Experience with system integration or industrial automation projects. ¢ Familiarity with control system architectures and I/O list preparation.
