Job Description

As an AEM Sr Developer at this company, you will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual with over 4 years of overall experience and at least 2 years of hands-on experience with AEM. Your role will involve working as an independent contributor in large-scale projects, where you will be responsible for user story analysis, component development, and unit testing. Additionally, you will coordinate with a globally distributed team and mentor new team members. This position offers significant opportunities for growth, allowing you to progress from a senior developer to a tech lead role. Your key responsibilities will include: - Component development - Dialog creation - Unit Testing - Automated unit test cases development Qualifications required for this role: - Capability to define detailed design of a component or a flow and document it for team members - Providing inputs for best practices and ensuring their implementation - Minimum 2 full life-cycle implementation experience on AEM 6.x, preferably 6.3+ as Developer - Expertise in creating custom AEM components (JSP, Sightly) and OSGI bundle - AEM Component dialog design in both touch and classic mode - Component inheritance/hierarchy understanding and expertise - Knowledge of AEM workflows, user management, roles, and I18N knowledge - Java/J2EE expertise, CRX Apache Sling knowledge - Content migration to AEM especially using automation techniques - Integration of rest and soap services to AEM Desirable skills for this role: - Adobe certified AEM developer - Understanding of launch and Adobe analytics - Experience with Agile Development Methodology - Understanding of AEM modules of MCM and MSM - Integration of AEM with e-commerce applications in headless and non-headless deployments Soft skills required: - Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills - Strong skills to effectively interface with clients and other stakeholders - Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction - Ownership of a module or a small size team Infogain is a human-centered digital platform and software engineering company based out of Silicon Valley.
