Duty Medical Officer

Job Description

To provide round-the-clock medical care and emergency services to inpatients and outpatients, ensuring timely diagnosis, treatment, and referrals in coordination with consultants and hospital protocols. Patient Care Attend to patients in the emergency, ICU, and wards as per hospital protocol. Provide primary medical care and stabilize critical cases. Carry out daily ward rounds and update patient condition in medical records. Monitor patients progress and inform consultants promptly of any changes. Clinical Duties Assess patients, take medical history, and perform physical examinations. Initiate appropriate investigations and treatments as per guidelines, Follow consultant instructions and ensure timely implementation of orders. Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Document admission notes, daily progress, and discharge summaries. Report adverse events or unusual cases to senior staff as per protocol. Qualification : MBBS- REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE MANDATORY (MCI) 1-5 years of clinical experience in a hospital setup preferred (freshers can be considered based on performance) Basic Life Support (BLS) / Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified is an advantage.
