Job Description – Duty Medical Officer (DMO) Position Title: Duty Medical Officer Department: Medical Services Salary: Attractive Salary Location: Malar Hospital, Hosur Reports To: Chief Medical Officer Job Purpose: To provide continuous and comprehensive medical care to patients during the assigned shift, ensuring prompt assessment, management, and coordination of patient needs as per hospital protocol. Key Responsibilities: Attend to all emergency and routine cases in coordination with the nursing and clinical staff. Perform initial patient assessments and provide treatment based on clinical findings. Monitor patients admitted under various departments and update consultants regularly. Provide immediate medical intervention in case of clinical deterioration. Handle medico-legal cases with proper documentation and procedures. Ensure all patient records, reports, and discharge summaries are updated accurately. Respond to Code Blue and other emergencies promptly. Communicate with patient attendants clearly regarding patient condition, care plans, and progress. Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and ethical medical practices. Submit end-of-shift reports and ensure proper handover to incoming shift doctors. Qualifications & Requirements: MBBS from a recognized university with valid registration (mandatory) Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting BLS and ACLS certification preferred Ability to work in rotational shifts including nights and weekends Skills & Competencies: Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and manage critical situations Professional behavior with a commitment to patient care Team player with a responsible and proactive approach Working Hours Rotational shifts / Based on hospital schedule How to Apply Send your resume to [email protected] contact 8870166133 for more details.
