Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prepare Master Layouts including site boundary plans, Circulation layouts, zoning plans, road networks, and utility space planning.
Produce Architectural Layouts such as floor plans, elevations, sections, room layouts, and detailed area statements.
Convert conceptual sketches and design inputs from architects/engineers into accurate CAD drawings.
Maintain drawing standards, layering systems, and file management as per company protocols.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and project managers for drawing updates and revisions.
Assist in preparing quantity sheets, schedules, and drawing registers.
Conduct site visits for measurements, drawing corrections, and layout verification when required.
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, regulations, and design guidelines.

Qualifications

Diploma in Civil/Mechanical, bachelors degree in civil/mechanical Engg. (Preferred).
3–6 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting, layout preparation, and CAD Drafting & detailing.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); experience with Revit is an added advantage.
Good understanding of architectural planning principles, building bylaws, and site layout development.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple drawing assignments efficiently.
Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience in preparing Master Plans for large campuses/townships/industrial parks.
Familiarity with GIS-based or planning software (optional but beneficial).
Understanding of structural, MEP, and landscape interface requirements in layouts. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
