Role Overview: As a Drafting and Prosecution Expert at Sagacious IP, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with drafting and filing patent applications, as well as providing strategic advice on prosecution matters in the field of Computer Science, Information technology, and communication technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Draft patent applications for inventions in Computer Science, Information technology, and communication technologies. - Deliver prosecution projects, including formulating response strategies for office actions and drafting complete responses to office actions. - Draft provisional specifications and complete patent applications with well-crafted claim sets meeting U.S. and European patent legal and procedural standards. - Mentor team members on assigned technology areas and provide guidance for drafting and prosecution work. - Apply process knowledge to ensure consistent, high-quality results in assigned tasks. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering/technology from a reputed institute. - Excellent domain knowledge in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). - Minimum 2+ years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution, with at least 2 years of experience in patent drafting for the U.S. jurisdiction. - Experience drafting 30+ patent applications for the U.S. domain. - Strong comprehension skills to understand technical literature and patent publications, along with a robust understanding of the latest technologies. - Excellent articulation skills for communication with inventors, attorneys, and colleagues. - Strong analytical skills to analyze prior art and determine claim scope, along with persuasive writing skills for drafting convincing arguments. - Desired educational qualifications include B.Tech/M.Tech in ECE/EEE/CSE/IT.
