Additionally, responsibilities include designing complex products encompassing Topology Design, Thermal Design, Enclosure Design, Magnetics & Filter Design, and Wire routing design. Familiarity with NABL and UL approvals for BOM and Production Facility, as well as exposure to UL, ICE, and CE Certifications, is essential. The role involves leading advanced research for cost reduction of power electronic hardware, selecting appropriate sensors and computational platforms, designing Analog and Digital circuit Schematics and BOM in ORCAD, and collaborating with layout engineers for optimal circuit board design. Furthermore, the candidate will work closely with Software Engineers on Algorithm design, System Integration, and Troubleshooting, and contribute to the development of proof-of-concept implementations and prototypes. Disseminating knowledge of hardware design standards and practices, preparing reports and presentations on design status, and conducting research on emerging hardware products and standards are integral components of the role.
