Dotnet Developer

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.

Responsibilities:

• 5 - 6 years of hands-on experience in design, development, implementation and testing in web applications, using .Net 2.0 / 3.5, C# (majorly) along with VB 6.0 (desired).
• Independent hands-on developer to execute enhancements, projects, and bug fixes.
• Be Subject Matter Expert to design & development of web services, APIs, web applications, Oracle Database (majorly), and SQL Database.
• Strong knowledge of full life cycle and various SDLC methodologies.
• Good communication skills, adept at learning new technical skills.
• Strong expertise in Oracle and SQL programming with experience of writing & optimizing Stored procedures, queries.
• Understanding of Software Unit & Integration Test methodologies and testing tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A self-starter, and individual contributor with effective team collaboration skills
• Effective client communication skills.

Education and Experience Required:

• Typically, a technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 - 6 years of related experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• 5 - 6 years of experience writing code (such as, and not limited to, .Net, C#, and VB.Net; databases like SqlServer/ Oracle).
• Experience of one or more full release cycles. Basic understanding of modern software development methodologies (Object).
• Basic understanding of modern software development tools and SCM (software configuration management).
• Basic understanding of Software Test methodologies, test scripting and testing tools.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Desired Technical stack # .Net Framework 2.0, 3.5, 4.2; C#, VB.Net, Jquery / JavaScript, Oracle Server, Web API / Web Services, XML / JSON, and VB6.0 (desired)
