Dot NET Developer

You will be working as a Dot NET Developer in Pune, India with 3-8 years of experience in a full-time position within the IT department. Your responsibilities will include utilizing established development tools such as ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET. You will be required to prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications, resolve defects in systems, and prepare test-based applications. Additionally, you will enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing action plans, and identifying areas for modification and improvement. Managing the defect tracking system, resolving issues, and preparing updates for systems will also be part of your role. You will need to investigate and develop skills in new technologies, create technical specifications and test plans, as well as monitor everyday system activities and provide necessary support. To qualify for this position, you should have a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent with programming experience. You must possess 3 to 5 years of design and/or development experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Windows Forms, and SQL Server in an n-tier architecture. A strong background in object-oriented development techniques, solution design patterns, and best practices like SOA is essential. Experience in database design and development using Microsoft SQL Server, as well as familiarity with Web Services, WCF, and Service-Oriented Architecture, will be advantageous. Exposure to concurrent development source control (Git) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins or Bamboo), understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, and Agile methodologies is required. Lastly, a passion for technology and knowledge is highly desirable.
