Role Overview

As a Senior Groomer at Zane's, you will be the lead artist responsible for providing top-tier grooming services. You will handle complex cuts, manage high-energy or sensitive pets (including rescues), and ensure the highest standards of safety and hygiene. You will also train & supervise junior staff and maintain the premium reputation of our spa.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced Styling: Perform expert breed-specific cuts, creative styling, and hand-stripping (if applicable) for various dog and cat breeds.
• Safety & Handling: Expertly handle pets with different temperaments, including senior pets and rescues with trauma, ensuring a stress-free experience.
• Full Service Execution: Oversee and perform the full grooming process: bathing, drying, nail clipping/grinding, ear cleaning, and hygiene clips.
• Health Checks: Conduct thorough skin and coat assessments; identify and communicate issues like lumps, infections, or parasites to pet parents.
• Mentorship: Guide and train junior groomers and assistants to maintain Zane's quality standards.
• Customer Interaction: Consult with pet parents on styling preferences, maintenance tips, and product recommendations (like our Freossi range).
• Quality Control: Ensure the grooming station is sterilized and organized, and that all equipment is well-maintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in a high-volume, professional grooming environment.
• Technical Expertise: Mastery of scissors and clipper techniques across all breeds (Poodles, Shih Tzus, Golden Retrievers, etc.).
• Patience & Empathy: A deep love for animals and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Communication: Fluent in English/Hindi to interact professionally with our clientele.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with various skin conditions and the appropriate medicated shampoos or treatments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
