Document Specialist - HVDC

Role Overview: As a Documentation Management Specialist at Hitachi Energy, your primary responsibility will be to manage the distribution of project documents internally within the team and externally to customers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining document status, providing insights to project management, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Profile and upload various types of documents like Drawing files, Manuals, Test Reports, and Calculations. - Upload documents into the Document Control System (Database) efficiently. - Maintain a comprehensive record of project documentation status. - Communicate effectively with Project Manager, Document Coordinators, Purchase in-charge, and Line Departments for clarifications and suggestions. - Follow-up with other departments to ensure timely submission of documents. - Ensure compliance with relevant external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions and demonstrating care for colleagues and the business. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - 2 to 5 years of experience in Documentation Management. - Strong knowledge of Document Management System/Tools. - Experience in Oil & Gas Industries and Power related Industries is preferred. - Proficiency in preparing reports, maintaining records, contract reading, and understanding documentation requirements. - Excellent command over MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PPT, and EDMS. - Team player with a keen attention to detail, effective communication skills, and ability to understand and fulfill requirements. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
