Document Controller, Pressure Management

In this role at Emerson, as a part of the Documentation team located in FCEC, Chennai, you will be responsible for on-time and accurate documentation in compliance with Emerson and Customer standards. You will learn and master the designated Document Management Systems to keep track of all document deliverables throughout the project life cycle. Additionally, you will participate in handover calls to gather inputs from PM/Engineering/Quality, work with internal stakeholders to collect relevant documents, review and prepare documents for submittal, perform accuracy checks, prepare documents for upload, manage document flow, and store in the Documentation Management System. Your responsibilities in this role will include: - Learning and mastering the designated Document Management Systems - Participating in handover calls to gather inputs - Working with internal stakeholders to collect relevant documents - Reviewing and preparing documents for submittal - Performing accuracy checks and liaising with PM/Direct sales - Uploading documents to the Controlled Document Archive - Notifying relevant teams to review customer comments - Reviewing, preparing, and uploading new revisions of documents To be successful in this role, you should have: - A graduate degree in Physics, Maths, Chemistry, or other Bachelor of Science degrees - Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal - Proficiency in MS Office and Document editing softwares (PDF editor, Nitro, etc.) Preferred qualifications that set you apart include: - 2+ years of industry work experience with experience in project documentation - Learning agility for fast learning of work processes - Working knowledge of SAP At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
