Document Controller, Pressure Management

If you have a background in Project Documentation, Emerson has an exciting role for you! You will be a part of the Documentation team located in FCEC, Chennai and will be responsible for on-time and accurate documentation in compliance with Emerson and Customer standards. In this role, your responsibilities will include: - Learning and mastering the designated Document Management Systems to keep track of all document deliverables throughout the project life cycle. - Participating in handover calls to get inputs from PM/Engineering/Quality. - Working with all internal stakeholders of the project such as Inside Sales team, factory, engineering, etc., to collect relevant documents for submission. - Reviewing and preparing documents for submittal with the agreed project format. - Performing checks for accuracy on the documentation sent to the customer and liaising with PM/Direct sales on documentation type. - Preparing documents and uploading them to the Controlled Document Archive. - Notifying relevant teams to review customer comments in case of comments from the customer to rework and resubmit. - Reviewing, preparing, and uploading new revisions of the document and re-issuing to the customer via transmittal. - Managing document flow and storing in the Documentation Management System through various functions and processes, including maintaining files and using proper distribution and revision procedures. For this role, you will need: - Graduate in Physics, Maths, Chemistry, or other Bachelor of Science degrees. - Strong communication skills in English both written and verbal. - Proficiency in MS Office and Document editing software (PDF editor, Nitro, etc.). Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: - 2+ years industry work experience with experience in project documentation. - Learning agility for fast learning of work processes. - Working knowledge of SAP.
