Document Control Specialist

As an employee at UL Solutions, your role will involve attending Foundational Training to acquire necessary process skills and meet qualification requirements. You will be expected to understand the UL file structure, terminology, and systems required for processing backend work. Utilizing system software and tools, both internal and customer-facing, will be essential for managing certification documents and correspondence in accordance with Work Instructions/SOPs. Your responsibilities will include receiving projects for processing from different functions and industries, reviewing project details for processing readiness, and analyzing post-certification data for discrepancies. Key Responsibilities: - Attend Foundational Training to acquire process skills - Understand UL file structure, terminology, and systems for processing backend work - Utilize system software and tools to manage certification documents - Receive projects for processing from various functions and industries - Review project details and analyze data for discrepancies - Document project status and resolve issues in a timely manner - Manage personal request queues and email box - Attend to emails from stakeholders with a sense of urgency - Support Business Transformation efforts and continuous improvement initiatives - Work effectively with a diverse team - Follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and security practices - Perform other duties as directed Qualifications: - 12 years of experience in a similar role; freshers are welcome to apply - Minimum of a 3-year university degree - Basic computer proficiency - Strong command of MS Word and good typing skills - Excellent communication, critical thinking, and interpretation skills - IT or computer knowledge is an added advantage - Ability to handle repetitive tasks without compromising quality - Capable of working independently - Actively participate in team discussions and provide constructive feedback when needed About UL Solutions: UL Solutions is a global leader in applied safety science, operating in more than 110 countries.
