Job Description Preferred Location - Hyderabad, India Full time/Part Time - Full Time Experience: 15 - 18 Yrs Job Summary: Seasoned Project Engineering professional working independently. Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets, tracks progress, resolves problems, develops solutions, and forecasts project revenue. Coordinates with other functional organizations. Identifies and addresses project problems, analyzes data gathered, and develops solutions and recommendations to solve problems, meet deadlines and optimize performance. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Software design and development for windows, web, cloud-based applications using Dot Net Technologies. Individual must have the ability to understand system requirements, develop a system architecture and design, implement using .NET Framework, NET Core, C#, WCF, gRPC, Microservices, VB6, COM, C++, SQLServer, Networking, IoT Technologies perform unit and system testing. The selected candidate must have a background in software development, architecture, design and code review, devices/system interaction and troubleshooting, and will be involved in all aspects of the system software development process (concept, architecture, design, reviews, coding, and validation). The selected candidate shall be able to work with team both locally and globally. Need to work with teams at global locations across different time zones. EDUCATION PREFERRED: Degree - Masters in Computer Science EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: Minimum 15-18 years software architecture, design and development experience required as below: Essential Competencies: Strong in .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, WCF, gRPC, Microservices, SOA, SQLServer and object-oriented software development Strong in designing SOA, multi layered architecture for the application Strong in COM, C++ Strong in Architecture related diagrams and UML Strong in design patterns Strong in IOC (Inversion of Control) principles. Strong in multi-threading Strong in Unit Test Frameworks (MSTest.TestFramework, Mock, NSubsitute, Rhino) Strong in database design Strong in SQL Stored Procedures Strong in Security threats Good knowledge in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI-CD) Good knowledge in Networking Knowledge on Web Technologies Knowledge on Microservices Experience on Life cycle development process Design, develop and implement new software programs Maintain and improve the performance of existing software Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues Design and update software database Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary Desirable Competencies: Exposure to safety critical embedded systems design for UL Markets Experience with HPQC and UML OTHER COMPETENCIES: o Understanding of the entire system development process. o Strong English communication skills - oral and written. o Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment. o Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary. o Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices. o Working experience in product-based companies.
