DMA Lead Or Manager

Role Overview: Yethi Consulting is looking for an experienced Data Migration Lead / Manager to oversee and manage comprehensive data migration initiatives for core banking systems. As the Lead / Manager, you will be responsible for guiding legacy-to-new application migrations, version upgrades, and client-side transition projects. Your primary focus will be to ensure precision, efficiency, and regulatory compliance throughout the entire migration process. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage end-to-end data migration projects for Core Banking Systems such as Flexcube, Finacle, TCS BaNCS, T24, OBDX, etc. - Define and implement data migration strategy, roadmap, and methodology including ETL processes, staging, validation, and reconciliation. - Conduct requirement analysis, source-to-target mapping, and define transformation rules for various banking data elements like customers, accounts, loans, GL, transactions, etc. - Supervise data profiling, cleansing, enrichment, and quality checks to maintain data integrity and accuracy. - Collaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to devise optimal migration solutions. - Conduct mock runs, dress rehearsals, and cut-over planning to prepare for go-live. - Manage tracking, resolution, and reporting of migration issues with stakeholders. - Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and audit requirements. - Provide leadership to onsite/offshore migration teams, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables. - Engage closely with business users and client stakeholders during UAT, validation, and reconciliation phases. - Support post-migration stabilization and performance optimization efforts. Required Skills & Experience: - 8-15 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to banking data migration projects. - Demonstrated expertise in CBS migration and upgrades specifically with Flexcube, Finacle, TCS BaNCS, T24, OBDX, or similar platforms. - Proficiency in data migration tools and ETL frameworks such as Informatica, DataStage, ODI, Pentaho, or custom SQL/PLSQL scripts. - Strong skills in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or DB2 for migration and reconciliation purposes. - Experience in data validation, reconciliation frameworks, and audit reporting. - Sound knowledge of cut-over strategy, roll-back planning, and risk management. - Exposure to cloud-based banking migrations like Azure, AWS, GCP would be advantageous. - Excellent stakeholder management, client engagement, and leadership abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous onsite migration project involvement in banks or large financial institutions. - Certification in banking products like Finacle, Flexcube, T24, etc. would be a plus. - Experience with Agile/DevOps delivery models for migration projects. - Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization during migration cycles.,
