D.M. Water / Purified Water Operator cum Technician

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled DM Water / Purified Water Operator cum Technician to operate, maintain, and monitor water treatment systems including DM (De-Mineralized) water, RO (Reverse Osmosis), and Purified Water Generation and Distribution systems. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of water system operations, preventive maintenance, and GMP compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor DM water plant, RO systems, and Purified Water Generation & Distribution systems.
• Perform routine checks for conductivity, pH, TOC, flow rate, pressure, and temperature.
• Ensure timely regeneration of resins, membrane cleaning, and sanitization procedures as per SOPs.
• Record all operating parameters, test results, and deviations in logbooks and relevant documents.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities and support in troubleshooting issues with pumps, membranes, filters, and instrumentation.
• Coordinate with Quality and Engineering teams for periodic validation and sampling.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, cGMP, and water quality standards as per pharmacopeial norms (USP/EP/IP).
• Monitor and ensure availability of utilities like raw water, compressed air, and required chemicals for treatment.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and documentation of the plant area.

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or relevant technical field
• 2–5 years of experience in operating and maintaining DM / RO / Purified Water plants (preferably in pharmaceutical or food industries)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
