Django Developer

As a Web Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using Python and Django. Your main focus will be on writing clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices. You will also be designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services into our applications. Collaboration with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements will be a key aspect of your role. In addition, you will manage databases, optimize queries, and handle migrations as needed. Debugging and troubleshooting application issues and bugs will also be part of your responsibilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring that technical documentation is written and maintained throughout the process. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with Python and the Django framework. A strong understanding of object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and web application development is required. Experience with REST APIs, JSON, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap is essential. Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL, as well as version control tools like Git, will be beneficial. Knowledge of security best practices in web development and strong problem-solving and debugging skills are also important for this position. This is a full-time, permanent role with benefits including paid sick time. The work location is in-person, with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
