Django Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Django Developer with strong expertise in building scalable applications and REST APIs. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Python, Django (MVT), and Django REST Framework (DRF), with hands-on experience in deployment and integration. You will work closely with AI/ML engineers, front-end developers, and product teams to deliver robust, production-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Django applications using MVT architecture.
• Build, optimize, and secure RESTful APIs using Django Rest Framework (DRF).
• Implement authentication, authorization, and session management for APIs.
• Deliver front-end integrations using the Django templating engine.
• Manage database models, migrations, and ORM queries for performance optimization.
• Write clean, modular, and testable code following best practices.
• Deploy and troubleshoot applications in Linux (Ubuntu) environments using Gunicorn/Nginx.
• Integrate storage solutions with AWS S3 or equivalent cloud storage.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers and front-end developers for end-to-end features.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and peer code reviews.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in B.Tech/BCA or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months of experience. (Freshers may also apply)
• Passion for tech, start-ups, and the fast-moving digital ecosystem.
• Strong expertise in Python 3.x and Django framework (MVT).
• Hands-on experience with Django Rest Framework (DRF) for API development.
• Good understanding of the Django templating system.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL/MySQL and ORM best practices.
• Familiarity with asynchronous tasks (Celery/Redis).
• Deployment experience in Linux environments (Gunicorn, Nginx, Ubuntu).
• Version control using Git/GitHub. • Experience with unit testing frameworks (Pytest/Unitest).
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for templating/integration.
• Exposure to cloud storage platforms (AWS S3 preferred).

Good to Have:

• Experience with Docker & containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline).
• Understanding of security best practices (CORS, CSRF, JWT/OAuth2).
• Familiarity with scalable architectures and microservices.
