Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and skilled DJ to create an engaging and lively atmosphere for our guests by playing a wide variety of music tailored to the vibe of our bar, restaurant, and event nights. The ideal candidate should have experience in live mixing, sound equipment handling, and reading the crowd to maintain high energy levels and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Select and play appropriate music based on the time of day, event type, and guest preferences. Mix tracks live using DJ equipment and software to create seamless music experiences. Adjust music tempo, genre, and volume based on the mood and audience engagement. Collaborate with the management team to plan music for themed nights, private parties, and special events. Set up, test, and maintain sound systems, speakers, and lighting before and during performances. Take song requests from guests (if permitted) and manage them professionally. Make announcements or interact with the crowd when required (mic presence). Monitor guest reactions and adjust music selections accordingly. Maintain a professional appearance and behavior at all times. Requirements: Proven experience as a DJ in bars, clubs, lounges, or event venues. Proficiency with DJ equipment (controllers, mixers, turntables) and software (e.g., Serato, Virtual DJ, Traktor). Strong knowledge of various music genres (commercial, retro, EDM, Bollywood, etc.). Ability to read and engage a diverse audience. Basic knowledge of sound and lighting setup. Punctual, reliable, and flexible with work hours including weekends and late nights. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience as a Resident DJ or in hospitality venues. Own DJ equipment is a plus. Basic emceeing or crowd interaction skills.
