Role & responsibilities

1. Manufacturing Processes, Product knowledge and individual

parts knowledge

2. Design Concept and Proto Samples preparation

3. Release accurate specifications for shock absorber assembly

including valve setting

4. Develop shock absorber Valve Tuning to achieve performance

targets set by

the customer-approved drawings and specifications

5. Shock absorber Vehicle Level testing (2 Wheelers / 3 Wheelers

/ 4 Wheelers )

6. Preparation of product validation reports

7. Providing necessary Test Standards / Fixture designs /

Operating Standards / Instructions for Testing Team

8. Vehicle Fitment and Performance trials at customer end

9. Interaction with customers and Handling of New Product

Development according to Customer needs

10. Supervising Design engineers, Development engineers and

Testing Engineers

11. Discussion with Suppliers for concerns resolution (regarding

part failure)

12. Preparation of proto reports

13. Interaction with Customers & Vendors for the necessary

technical inputs and clarifications.

14. Preparation of TGR/TGW reports.

15. Preparing Benchmarking Plan- Testing, Teardown, Report,

Ideas Generation

16. Problem solving on New Product Development

17. Participation in CFT for DFMEA, PFMEA etc.

18. Creation of VAVE ideas and its implementation

19. Working knowledge of 3D Modelling and Drafting

20. Knowledge of PLM Software

21. Preparation of DVP and related Testing
