• Must have at least a BE degree in Civil Engineering or related fields from a recognized university
• 8 years of experience in Electrical Distribution network construction design, planning and supervision works or similar civil construction work).
• Good working knowledge of the English Language

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review plan and ensure contractor works to the schedule
• Supervision of contractors work and ensure quality and safety at site and ensure compliance to requirements

The Supervision Engineers shall hold site meetings regularly as required with the contractors' site representatives and EEU's Project Office site staff.

The meeting shall deal with the following matters.

• Approval or rejection of executed work elements;
• Contractor's work schedule
• Contractor's work method,
• Temporary works and additional works (if any)

Minutes of the meeting shall be prepared and signed by the participating parties.  Copies of the minutes shall be given to the participants and to the EEU's Project Office.

A one page, one-day duplicate diary shall be maintained on site by the Supervision Engineer.  The site diary shall include:

• The weather conditions;
• Major works completed, accepted or rejected;
• Written instructions given to the contractors;
• Problems encountered; and
• Site meetings and other events, which have bearing on the project implementation.

The Engineer shall review the measurement sheet submitted by the contractor for monthly billing purposes

The supervision works shall include the testing, inspection, and commissioning of the distribution system as carried out by the contractors.

The supervision works also include the review and recommendation of EEU in the issuance of final acceptance certificates (completion certificates) to the contractors.
