Role &Job Summary:

Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare electrical design drawings, including single-line diagrams, lighting layouts, power distribution, earthing, and cable routing, in accordance with client requirements and national/international standards.
• Develop load calculations, equipment sizing, and technical specifications for electrical systems (LV and MV).
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project consultants to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
• Prepare BOQs, DB schedules, and tender documents for client submission.
• Conduct technical reviews of vendor documents and drawings.
• Provide technical support during project execution, site coordination, and client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as IEC, IS, NBC, and local electrical codes.
• Assist in project planning, estimation, and timelines for design deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. or B.Tech).
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical design for consultancy or EPC firms.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, and Microsoft Office; experience with Revit MEP or BIM tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with Indian and international design standards (IEC, IS, NEC, NBC, etc.).
• Good understanding of LV/MV systems, HT/LT panel designs, and protection schemes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on government or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Experience with Autocad/ETAP or similar electrical analysis software.
