Role & responsibilities

Display

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize
display

subsystems
for Qualcomm Snapdragon-based automotive platforms.
Work on
display

protocols
such as
MIPI DSI, eDP, HDMI,

DisplayPort
.
Implement and debug
Android

Display

Framework components
(Composer HAL, SurfaceFlinger, Buffer queues, DRM-KMS).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Graphics, Multimedia, BSP) for seamless display integration.
Debug real-time display issues during bring-up and validation phases.
Handle
display

bring-up
activities including panel timing, initialization sequences, backlight control, and power management.

Required Skills

Strong programming expertise in
C/C++
.
Solid understanding of
Linux Kernel

Display

Stack
: DRM/KMS, Framebuffer, sysfs/debugfs nodes.
Knowledge of
Android

Display

Framework
: SurfaceFlinger, HWC, BufferQueue, Composer HAL.
Exposure to
RGB/YUV pipelines, color management
.
Hands-on experience with debugging using
ADB, kernel logs, GPU/display

traces
.
Familiarity with
Git or similar version-control tools
.
System Knowledge
: Practical experience with
device driver programming in Linux or RTOS environments such as QNX, LRH
.
Preferred: Experience with
oscilloscope/logic analyzer
for hardware-level debugging.
