Content Platforms & Operations is responsible for the development and ongoing advancement of the technical and operational functions driving the worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney's linear networks and theatrical content. This includes Disney's media supply chain and storage, network and theatrical distribution operations, media localization, network transmission and origination, and more.This Director role will sit within the Content Platforms organization, which is responsible for advancing the technologies and workflows that enable Disney's global content supply chain distribution and monetization functions.

Job Summary:

As Director, Software Engineering, you will establish and lead a growing engineering organization based in Bangalore, India, dedicated to Content Platforms. This team partners closely with U.S.-based product, design, and QA colleagues to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure systems that power Disney's content supply chain distribution and monetization functions. You will oversee multiple managers and their teams, drive recruitment and technical excellence, and ensure global collaboration that enables Disney Entertainment & ESPN to deliver and monetize its unparalleled content across every screen. You will also shape technical strategy, foster innovation, and guide delivery of complex, distributed applications aligned with the mission of Content Platforms.
