Role: Analytics Director, Pharma Analytics

Role overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end analytics engagements in the healthcare/pharma domain, managing cross-functional stakeholders across client and internal teams.
• Challenge conventional analytical approaches and proactively recommend innovative strategies and methodologies.
• Drive discovery and requirements gathering to ensure business context is accurately captured and translated into analytical solutions.
• Generate quantitatively-driven insights to solve complex commercial problems such as targeting, segmentation, campaign analytics, omnichannel analytics and performance optimization.
• Identify next-best actions and strategic recommendations to enhance brand performance, sales force effectiveness, launch analytics, test & control analysis, campaign effectiveness measurement etc.
• Ensure adherence to programming standards, project documentation protocols, and system management policies across analytics workstreams.
• Apply deep domain knowledge of pharma commercialization to design solutions aligned with industry-specific compliance, market access, and competitive dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science) or related field
• 12 years of Experience in commercial analytics in the pharmaceutical or healthcare domain
• Strong understanding of pharma commercial processes such as sales force effectiveness, brand performance tracking, patient analytics, and omnichannel marketing etc.
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Pyspark, Databricks for data manipulation and modelling.
• Familiarity with healthcare data sources like IQVIA (Xponent, DDD, LAAD), Symphony, APLD, EHR/EMR, and claims data.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable analytics solutions.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to present complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
