Director of Photography

As a Director of Photography, you will be responsible for planning and executing all aspects of cinematography. This includes setting up the camera, designing lighting, composing shots, and selecting the best angles. Your role will involve leading and managing camera and lighting crews on set, as well as scouting and assessing locations for optimal lighting conditions. You will need to choose the right camera gear, lenses, and equipment based on the project's visual goals, while ensuring high standards for image quality and visual consistency throughout all scenes. Collaboration with the post-production team will be essential to achieve the intended cinematographic style. Additionally, you will be in charge of managing budgets and timelines related to cinematography and camera departments. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and execute all aspects of cinematography - Lead and manage camera and lighting crews - Scout and assess locations for lighting and shooting conditions - Select appropriate camera gear, lenses, and equipment - Maintain high standards for image quality and visual consistency - Collaborate with the post-production team - Manage budgets and timelines Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Director of Photography or Cinematographer with a strong portfolio or showreel - Deep knowledge of camera systems, lenses, lighting equipment, and rigging tools - Strong understanding of cinematography techniques, color theory, and lighting principles - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing schedules or creative direction - Strong collaboration skills with directors, producers, art directors, and editors - Familiarity with post-production processes - Degree or diploma in Film, Media, or related field preferred Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including a flexible schedule, health insurance, leave encashment, paid sick time, and Provident Fund.
