Director of Engineering (Platform)

As an Engineering Manager at Clear, India's leading FinTech SaaS platform, you will lead a group of highly ambitious and high-performing engineers for both B2B and B2C products. You will collaborate closely with product managers and business leaders to drive critical decision-making and delivery with a focus on achieving results efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Act as an entrepreneur by taking ownership of problem statements from end-to-end - Deliver direct value to customers beyond internal delivery - Lead a diverse team of high-performing Engineers who consistently set new standards - Demonstrate strong engineering skills to hire, mentor, and grow the engineering team - Estimate, plan, and implement technical solutions for customer problem statements - Manage multiple competing priorities and ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience as an engineer or a lead solving real-world customer problems - 1-2 years of experience as a manager leading high-value engineering teams - BE / B.Tech / M.Tech from a premier institute, preferably in Computer Science - Proven track record of building and managing high-performing engineering teams - Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and present complex technical information clearly - Experience in building complex technical solutions such as highly scalable service-oriented architectures and distributed cloud-based systems for FinTech products,
