Director IT - Provider

This role is for one of Weekday's clients. You will be responsible for leading and growing high-performing application development teams with a focus on IT experience across varied domains. Your domain expertise should include Provider operations such as Credentialing, Contracting, Directories & Provider Data Management. Your partnering mindset will be crucial in improving data quality and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrating depth and adaptability in technology leadership - Leading and growing high-performing application development teams through mentoring, coaching, and cultivating technical excellence - Consistently delivering complex projects and programs on time, within scope, and with measurable business benefits - Strategic demand, capacity planning, and forecasting to align IT delivery with business priorities and budget realities - Advocating for the right mix of technologies (Mainframe, Java, APIs) to solve business problems - Collaborating with external vendors to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines - Building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels - Utilizing data-driven decision-making for problem-solving and analytics - Driving alignment across cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization Qualifications Required: - Minimum 15-18 years of IT experience across varied domains - Strong delivery leadership skills - Broad technology fluency and experience in collaborating with external vendors - Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills - Change-agent mindset with a focus on negotiation and driving alignment - Customer-focused and outcomes-oriented approach - Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment,
