Job Description

Role Overview: As a Trademark Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing global trademark initiatives to ensure alignment with corporate branding marketing strategies and legal compliance. Your role will involve overseeing trademark clearance, filing, prosecution, administration, and enforcement activities. Additionally, you will be required to develop region-specific trademark strategies and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Support Brand Strategy and Corporate Leadership in understanding the impact of trademark law on naming standards. - Provide legal guidance on trademark use to ensure compliance. - Develop and implement region-specific trademark strategies that are aligned with business goals. - Support the selection and clearance of new trademarks by reviewing search reports and conducting preliminary searches. - Analyze search results and collaborate with brand strategy and business teams on budget, goods/services descriptions, and risk assessments. - Define filing strategies, select countries, and determine goods/services scope for trademark filings. - Instruct external counsel on filings, review submitted documents, and manage office actions and oppositions. - Monitor docket reports for upcoming deadlines, ensure timely renewals, and manage internal systems for trademark administration. - Review reports of potential infringements, investigate unauthorized uses, and coordinate enforcement actions. - Support litigation and enforcement efforts through documentation and stakeholder interviews.
