Job Description

As a potential candidate for the Leadership role at Cognizant, you will be responsible for owning the enterprise AI architecture strategy aligned with business goals and digital transformation initiatives. You will evaluate and select AI platforms, tools, and protocols for scalability, security, and performance. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the design and deployment of agentic ecosystems across business domains, defining KPIs and metrics for agent performance, collaborating with C-suite stakeholders to drive AI adoption and innovation, ensuring compliance with global AI regulations, data privacy laws, and ethical standards, representing the organization in external forums on AI strategy, and leading enterprise-wide AI transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will define and enforce standards for agent lifecycle, observability, and interoperability, establish governance for AI/ML model management, data lineage, and explainability, and drive cross-functional alignment across business, data, and technology teams. You will also mentor solution architects and technical leads in AI/ML and agentic design principles. Qualifications required for this role include having 15+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in AI/ML and 1 year in Generative AI / Agentic AI systems. You should have proven experience in enterprise architecture, AI strategy, and digital transformation, as well as exploratory and hands-on experience in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and multi-agent system design. A strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman is essential. Experience in designing AI governance models, ethical AI frameworks, and compliance strategies is also necessary. You should be able to define enterprise-wide AI vision, roadmap, and reference architectures, and have familiarity with GenAI offerings from major enterprise platforms. Proficiency in cloud-native AI platforms like AWS SageMaker, Azure AI Studio, and Google Vertex AI is required, along with an understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud deployment models for AI workloads. Awareness of AI marketplaces, agent registries, and autonomous orchestration platforms will be beneficial for this role.,
